Methodology
This page explains how providers get into the directory, what our status labels mean, how the matching service works, and where money changes hands.
Inclusion
Providers apply or are researched by our team. We look for demonstrable senior finance leadership experience, a verifiable web presence, a clear description of who they serve, and marketing that does not promise guaranteed financial outcomes. Applications are reviewed by a person before anything is published.
What we publish and what we leave blank
Every field on a provider profile is either supplied by the provider, drawn from their public materials, or left blank. We do not estimate, infer or generate missing values, and we do not display ratings or review counts we have not collected.
Status labels
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified | A person on our team confirmed the provider exists, that the described practice matches its public presence, and that the profile contains no unsupported claims. It is not an endorsement of quality or outcomes. |
| Claimed | Someone at the provider has confirmed ownership of the profile and supplied or approved the information shown. |
| Featured | A paid placement that raises visibility. It does not change comparison data. |
| Sponsored | A paid placement, always labelled as such wherever it appears. |
| Demo record | A clearly labelled example record used during development. Demo records are not real businesses and are removed before launch. |
How matching works
The matching form collects your industry, size, needs, current finance setup, timing and location preference. Those criteria are compared against provider tags in our database. A person reviews the shortlist before it is shared. Providers receive your request only when their tagged expertise matches what you described.
How we make money
Providers pay for listings, featured or sponsored placement, and matched introductions. Paid placement is labelled everywhere it appears, is separated from editorial comparison, and never changes the underlying comparison data.
Corrections
If a profile is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct or remove it. Providers may request removal at any time.
